Who is AJ Creative Agency not for?
You do not have your copy and images and have no idea when they will be ready.
You want everything for free/find no value in professional expertise and advice.
How much do you charge for your services?
Every project is dfferent so we create our packages and prices based on the clients needs.
For all projects we invoice 50% up front and 50% due upon satisfied completion of the project.
For some larger projects we will offer a payment plan. This means we can break up your payments over a period of 6 months depending on the project, however the client must sign up for automatic deductions at agreed dates.
How do you accept payment?
For most projects, we request a 50% down payment to schedule in work. The exact details and terms will be provided in our proposal. The final 50% will be paid on completion of the project, prior to releasing the final artwork.
We send all of our contracts and invoices through a project management program, so all payments are handled electronically. You can pay with your credit card, check card PayPal account.
If you are unable to pay online, we can accept checks and will provide you with a mailing address.
PLEASE NOTE: Checks submitted for payment must clear before any work can begin. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, you will be charged a bounced check fee and must then make payment either by money order, cashier’s check or credit/debit card.
*** If your budget is really tight, we can make a payment plan for you. However no final work will be released to you without final payment.
What other expenses can I expect to get started?
Domain/Email: If you don’t already have your domain (your website URL), we can help you sign up and suggest some of our favorite companies we work with on a daily basis. We really like G-Suite from Google if your looking for an email provider. It's inexpenisve and comes with really great ready-made tools available for your use.
Web Hosting: We have about 3-4 web hosting companies that we love and are easy to work with, just let us know and we will get them to you.
I think your services are too expensive. Why does it cost so much?
We understand your concern and want to pose the following questions and scenarios to you:
It is very important to invest in your business. If you take your business seriously and want it to look professional, it is important to hire a pro for the things you don’t know how to do, have time to do, or want to do.
If you feel that our price is still too high for a professional website to be built for you, it might not be time to have a website…or even a business. Just like you would build in the costs for counter tops and insurance when buying a home, it’s important to build in costs for a website when you are a business owner (whether you are a virtual or brick and mortar business). Think of your website as a brochure that is accessible to the world, and that brochure provides important information as well as overall credibility.
Sometimes when you start a new endeavor, you may not have any money. But, in many cases, you might need to pay up front for something essential to your business. Like many businesses have to get a loan, many also might opt to put initial expenses on a credit card and pay it as soon as the money starts rolling in. We are not advocating for going into debt. But we are advocating for investing in your business. You’re worth it, aren’t you?
Content and Design Questions

How long will the project take?
If you provide us with everything we need to get started and you make minimal revisions after we start, we can build and launch your Custom site (depending upon the complexity of the project) between 1 and 3 months. Any delays on your end (content not being ready, fonts and colors not selected, revisions, hosting issues, long period of time between correspondence, etc.) will result in it taking longer.
Logos can take 2 weeks or longer, depending on the complexity of the design and your response time.
Tweaks turnaround time will depend on the nature and extent of the tweaks.

We only take on a few projects at a time to ensure that each client gets their deserved attention. We will work with you on strict timelines but please understand quaiity work requires time and paitence.
What if I want to change the layout of my site during the development process?
If you need to simply put one element of your site above or below another element (i.e. moving your opt-in form below some text instead of above it), that can be done easily and at no charge. If you need to (or want to) make bigger changes, we’ll provide you with quote for these changes along with our profession opinion regarding functionality or any other important information related to these changes.
Logo vs Brand?
A vast majority of business owners often mistake logos as being brands. A brand is not just a logo. A brand also isn’t just what you (your business) look like visually, it encapsulates who you are, what you stand for and how you behave, which will in turn determines the public’s perception of you.
Once the characteristics have been established for your brand, your designer will only then be able to create a visual for your brand that is congruent to who you are, communicate your brand values and be presented in line with your personality.
What exactly do I need to have ready for you to get started on my website?
We will need your content. The text that will go on each page, your logo, your font and color preferences, links to your social media pages, login information for any accounts we need to access in order to set up your website, and more!
Writing??? What should I do about my page content?
We totally understand that writing may not be everyone’s forté Don't worry we have copywriters that will help you create great content.
I need an online store to sell my products?
We do offer ecommerce set up with an add-on cost. We will set up the payment gateway, style the store to match your site, insert up to 5-10 products for you, and show you how to insert more.
What if I change my mind on the colors and fonts I’ve chosen after you already started (or finished) the site?
While we want you to make the best choices up front, we understand that sometimes preferences do change. We will do our best to accommodate you, but there may be a “tweak fee” for more than 3 color change revisions after we have started or finished your site.
I don’t have professional photos. Will any photos do?
For photos of YOU (or your products), it’s best to have professional photos if possible or at least a really good photo of you that represents you and what you’re offering in the best possible way.
Product photos should be clear, show options (if any) and be professional. People should be able to see clearly what they’re buying.
We have professional photographers ready to get the images you need. If this is needed prior to us starting we will include the photographer fee in your proposal.
What if I need stock photos for my site (for slides, blog images, etc.)? Where do I find them and how much are they?
We can include some stock photography to your website. But if your website requires more than 10 stock photos we will charge a stock fee.
